Attorney at Law

Why should I prepare an estate plan?

(It’s not only for the wealthy)

1.     Provide clarity and peace of mind for your family.

2.     Nominate guardians for minor children.

3.     Ensure your estate goes to the right people.

4.     Reduce or eliminate estate taxes.

5.     If you do not prepare a plan, the state will impose its plan on you.

6.     Provide gifts to charity.

7.     Choose who should make medical decisions for you if you are unable.

8.     Choose who should make financial decisions for you if you are unable.

9.     State your wishes regarding medical care.

10.   Peace of mind for you.

The Lehner Law Office, LLC is owned and operated by its primary attorney, Andrew M. Lehner. As a fourth-generation attorney, Andy understands what it means to be an effective advocate for each of his clients.

During law school, Andy served as a volunteer student attorney for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services and as a law clerk for a respected Eden Prairie Estate Planning law firm. In addition to his training and experience in the areas of estate planning, taxation, elder law, and probate, Andy spent a summer in Ireland studying international human rights law.

Upon admission to the Minnesota bar, he practiced as an estate planning attorney for the same Eden Prairie Firm. In February of 2009, Andy opened the Lehner Law, LLC office near his home in St. Paul.
